Research On Methods To Tourism Urbanization In The Region Of Yellow River Delta

Tourism urbanization is going to be an important way to promote new-type urbanization on the national level. It has become the most important approach during the progress of urbanization and regional development in the Yellow River Delta, where resource is abundant but the level of economic development is relatively low. The paper studies on the approaches of the regional urbanization in Yellow River Delta, adopting for document analysis, field study and statistical analysis as the major research methods. The main contents of the paper are as follows:(1)It analyses the phenomenon of tourism urbanization, describes the effect and significance of it, investigates the typical cases at home and abroad, and provides the model of development.(2)It discusses the endogenous, external and regulatory mechanism of tourism urbanization.(3)It summarizes the current situation and the approaches of the regional urbanization in Yellow River Delta. Meanwhile, it takes Binzhou city as the case to do a typical research with SWOT analysis method. It puts forward some key points regarding to the leading of government, policy guarantee, coordinative development, and so on.The study points out that tourism urbanization processes obvious spatial heterogeneity and is difficult to set up a development model with general applicability. Based on geographical locations, physical resources and development process, th e study summarizes four types of exploration model of tourism urbanization: Tourism Attraction Relying, Industrial Integration, Multifunctional Industrial Park, and Real Estate Comprehensive Development. According to the “endogenous” characteristic, tourism urbanization should be based on local advantages by innovation methods to achieve the goal of self-development. At the same time, we must pay attention to the negative externalities of tourism urbanization and set up the corresponding mechanisms in terms of law, policy, media, and administration, and so on, in order to reach sustainable development. The region like Yellow River Delta which maintains a good ecological environment but is under-developed, must change the idea above that of traditional industrial age. We should rely on “eco-efficient” principle and strengthen the responsibilities of the government-leading, providing more supports by offering according policy, managing integrated development of industry, maintaining the balance between benefits distribution and ecological protection, emphasizing the Chinese characteristics to reach the tourism urbanization in the end.
