The Path Research Of Pension Industry In China

Population aging is an inevitable product of social development. Every country can’t be avoided. The elderly population is still increasing when our country enter into an aging society since 1999, which is predicted to reach its peak in recent years. Our country is the most elderly population’s country in the world because we have a large number of population base. The consumer demand of huge elderly groups for related products and services continues to swell, which gives birth to the development of the pension industry. However, compared with the numerous developed countries, our country’s pension industry is still in its infancy, and does not adapt with the situation of the growing demand for the whole social pension. Therefore, It is greatly significant for us to pay much more attention to the development of China’s pension industry and find out the problems in the industrial development.The thesis is based on the above background, analysing the aging status of our country, and elaborating the necessity and feasibility of the pension industry. Thirty listed companies involved in the pension business are selected as samples. By the analysis of the financial quality, this thesis explicits the scale and condition of development of the pension enterprise in the market. The status of enterprises’ development can generally reflect that the pension industry is not attached importance to, and grow slowly, develop tardily. After summarizing the fourteen factors that affect the development of our country’s pension industry, these factors were layered and associated via employing the ISM structural model. Ultimately, seven different levels are obtained so as to clear the intrinsic link of each factor. Aiming at the levels affected by the factors, we should explore the development path of the pension industry, and donate the suggestions of the pension industry’ development, and thereby step by step solve the a variety of factors that restrict the development of the pension industry, provide theoretical support for the faster development of the pension industry.
