Population aging is a realistic problem faced by countries all over the world, and its more and more drastic trend will bring about a series of problems in economy and society. The highly development of the pension industry can effectively solve this problem, most important of all is that it will has great significance to the economic development and social harmony.In the increasingly serious aging population situation, based on the situation of the present research at home and abroad、the theory and concept relate to the pension industry,firstly,it introduces the transformation of endowment pattern and the overall development of the pension industry in our country. Secondly,based on the coupling-coordination degree model, it conducts a calculation on the coupling and coordination degree of the pension industry and regional economic development in 147 counties(cities, areas) in Yangtze River Delta,where concluding two provinces and one city. The results show that: ①the overall development level of pension industry is low and in the primary stage, there are obvious differences between urban and rural, and regional difference is very big. ② the coupling coordination level between pension industry and regional economy is relatively lower, most of the area in a moderate disorders or serious imbalance, the coupled coordination type possesses the center-periphery distribution characteristic. Finally, it studys the regional differences of the endowment real estate suitable development through the fuzzy clustering analysis and system clustering analysis methods. The result can be divided into 4 types:Shanghai city belongs to the type of prioritized development city; Wenzhou, Nanjing,Changzhou, Zhoushan, Wuxi, Suzhou, Ningbo, Hangzhou city belong to the type of more suitable development city; Shaoxing, Jiaxing, Taizhou; Jinhua city belong to the type of general appropriate development city; Nantong, Yancheng, Taizhou, Yangzhou, Huzhou,Zhenjiang, Lishui, Suqian, Quzhou, Huaian, Xuzhou, Lianyungang city has the potential development for the future. Last and the most, it puts forward the problems in the research and prospects for the future.
