Research On The Aspiration Of Migrant Workers Who Engage In Community Industries

In recent years,rapid change and urbanized development in China lead to a huge rural-urban migration.Migrant workers are new labor force since Chinese opening of reform,industrialization and urbanization.In order to drive economic and social development,and promote prosperity of the city,migrant workers have made a significant contribution.Therefore,the party and the country fully play a role in community function to improve community-based services for migrant workers and promote migrant workers into urban life.So they can be in harmony with urban residents.this paper is based on existing literature and by means of qualitative research methods,the researcher find 5 major traditional communities and visit the migrant workers’ s employment aspirations.This paper help community workers to promote the employment of migrant workers and community integration,which provide corresponding suggestions and comments for community employment.The researchers visited the B community,H community,XZ communities,S community and X community.The researcher adept representative sampling method and snowball sampling method and selected 15 samples.This paper explore the aspiration of migrant workers who take the employment in community and the factors behind the willingness by the original intention of employment,employment channels,working hours,income, working conditions,the early considerations and expectations, whether to continue the current working in the community,help obtained by the government and a sense of community.The study found that some aspects attract and encourage migrant workers in community services,such as the original intention of employment,employment channels,the high degree of freedom to work;there are other aspects to reduce the migrant workers’ s aspiration,such as low income level,rather long working hours,the defects of the social policy.Overall,the majority of migrant workers taking into account factors such astheir families and society capital, they are willing to continue to engage in community service industries.This paper aims to explore the aspiration of migrant workers who engage in community service industries.So that will provide theoretical basis and practical significance for community employment of migrant workers and exploration in future.
