The enterprise of industrial agglomeration usually can get significant external effects by sharing resource, the specialization distribution and so on. Because of its special status in industrial agglomeration, the leading enterprises play an important role in the cluster performance improvement. Our country is a motorcycle manufacturer and obviously presents a significant agglomeration development state. Guangdong, Chongqing and Jiangsu are China’s three big producing motorcycle manufacturers. And most of the motorcycle manufacturer enterprises located in the Pearl River delta in Guangdong province. This article firstly takes a brief overview of the situation for the motorcycle enterprises development in the Pearl River delta based on this fact, and excavates the leading enterprises for further analysis at the same time. Then construct econometric model from two different research direction based on the size and effect, which use the related parameters of leading enterprises as explanatory variables to analyze its promotion effect on the other enterprises. After that using spatial econometrics methods which isolation the mutual influence between other enterprises to analyze leading enterprises effect on the rest of the enterprise both scale and benefits. Finally, the conclusion and the policy recommend. The conclusion of this article is leading enterprise has a significant promoting effect on the other enterprise for both scale and benefits, but the performance gap between leading enterprises and other enterprises inhibits its effect.
