Research On Internet Financial Business Of Commercial Banks

In recent years, Internet finance, whose connotation and pattern are in constant change and development, has obtained rapid development relying on Internet technology, the main patterns of Internet finance such as the third-party payment, network finance and channel business have made a tremendous impact on the traditional business model of commercial banks and accelerated its trend for networking and e-commerce. Banks have begun to explore their innovative path to the Internet financial business by constructing electric business platform and launching mobile banking and products similar to Yu Ebao, etc.It is a trend that commercial banks develop Internet financial business. On the basis of this, this paper selects Bank of Communications as an example, attempting to make comparative analysis of the main Internet financial business that Bank of Communications is engaged in now and put forward some suggestions. This paper briefly introduces the three main kinds of patterns of Internet finance and types of Internet financial business that commercial banks are developing on the basis of a brief overview of the characteristics of Internet finance, then analyses the influence of Internet finance on the deposits, loans and payment and settlement business of Bank of Communications on the basis of introducing the three main types of Internet financial business which are “Make Bo”, “Kuai Yi-tong” and mobile banking. Using the method of comparative analysis, further analysis of the three main Internet financial business that Bank of Communications takes actively in response to the shocks that come from the Internet finance, in order to find the imperfect place. Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, suggestions have been put forward for the development of Internet financial business, providing ideas for Bank of Communications in order to form new competitive advantages under the background of Internet finance.
