After the economic crisis of 2009, many countries are pursuing and finding a new releasing power——infrastructure to promote economic development. In the purpose of inquiring the infrastructure’s contribution to the development of regional economic integration, the paper is mainly using the case analysis on one of the representative regional cooperation organization in Southeast Asia——The greater Mekong sub-region(GMS) infrastructure and cross-border economic corridor, and comparing the differences in economic integration of the six countries in GMS from 1992 to 2012.In addition, due to some historical accumulation of political and economic reasons, GMS still has many problems in its development of cross-border economic corridor and infrastructure. So the paper also from the perspective of strengthening the GMS economic cooperation mechanism to propose some reasonable measures, and some suggestions for the economic integration in Southeast Asia.
