As the world economy continues to develop and change, brand and brand image were paid greater attention by the majority of enterprises. The characteristics of the brand are displayed as the brand image, and the brand image reflects the essence of the brand, the two are inseparable. How to shape a good brand image has become the biggest challenge for the majority of marketers, by having a good brand image will led to more consumers favor of their products and services. Especially for the bounderless Internet industry, in the network products are seriously homogenization of today, a good brand image will be an important factor in the position of market share. This is why the vast majority of people in the country are using Baidu search engine, rather than other similar products. Because in the hearts of domestic users, Baidu had become the representative word of “search”.Baidu is a search-engine started internet company. Since its inception in 2000, Baidu’s internet service providing and technology researching had been growing rapidly and become the one of the china’s top 3 Internet giant “BAT”. For further development, Baidu began to enter the international market strategy, and the Japan search-enginge market were chosen as the first target. But due to the fi erce competition of local market, also with lacking of adequate overseas operations experience, Baidu eventually quit the Japan market. However in recent years, Baidu’s international strategy had began to start over. They released the small product line in many 3rd-world countries. In order to the local market to test the waters, accumulated amount of users and operation experience. And Brazil, Egypt, and Thailand were their top three major target market.Recently,Thailand is one of the most rising Internet market, its development speed and market demand can be regarded as the first in Southeast asia. At present, Thailand’s search-enginge market has been monopolized by Google, by up to 95% market share. It would like getting the egg hit the stone if you want to compete with Google in search-engine market now. Baidu seems to be clear about this fact, so they first launched the non search-engine product line to Thailand market over past 4 years, such as Hao123, Baidu Antivirus, Baidu PC Faster, etc... In Thail and, the Baidu brand and product line had been formed gradually. Baidu Thailand’s brand image will be the most important factor in the development of Baidu in Thailand. And this upcoming highlight product, "Baidu search" Thai version will also be questioned; The way which the previous products of Baidu prepared for it, is exactly the easy one, or the hard one? This article will find out the answer of this.
