Study On Regional Economic Growth Based On The Theory Of Spatial Econometrics

Economic growth has been an important issue in the field of economic, and the concentration of a county or a region. With the development of modern information technology, it’s possible to use the geographic information technology and the spatial econometric theory to explore spatial economy, and it has become the inevitable development trend in research on the spatial econometric analysis of economic growth by useing the theory of economic growth. As Guizhou province is in the rapid development, the regional gap is gradually expanding. It has a negative impact on the economic and social development of Guizhou province. Therefore, it will become the theoretical basis by using the spatial econometric model to analyze the space effect of economic growth and convergence trend among difference cities.This paper starts with the Cobb Douglas production function, and analyzes the main content of the new classical economic growth theory. In addition, it introduces spatial econometric analysis theory, spatial dependence, spatial econometric model and spatial weight matrix and the setting of the process commonly. Finally the article shows the theoretical basis of economic growth convergence. By analyzing the GDP and composition, fixed asset investment and population data of 9 cities in Guizhou province in 1993-2013, we hope to find the differences and the causes. Construction of spatial econometric models as well as the Guizhou province spatial weight matrix, and claims the choice of economic growth model, variable data sources to estimate and test the spatial effect on economic growth of Guizhou province. The spatial econometric model was introduced in Guizhou province regional economic convergence study, to test Guizhou province province region economy growth of absolute convergence and conditional beta convergence, spatial effect analysis of Guizhou province’s economic convergence.Through the spatial econometric analysis and economic growth convergence analysis, this paper draws a conclusion that, it has an obvious spatial effect between the cities in Guizhou province, and also exists a spatial correlation. And economic growth exist conditional beta convergence. At the same time, we give several policy suggestions that could promote the coordinated, healthy, stable development in various regions of Guizhou Province. Firstly, creating good external conditions about Spatial spillover economic growth. Secondly, promoting the rational flow of capital between regions in the province.Thirdly, building a reasonable human resource flow mechanism. Lastly, Optimizing income distribution mechanism.
