As an important part of human resource management, performance management has been applied widely in grid enterprises. However, due to a serial of reasons, such as the company’s various historical evolutions, management systems, personnel quality and the asymmetry of company’s inner information etc, the results of performance management cannot always give a complete, true, and objective reflection about the corporation ‘s situation.In this paper, the status quo of performance management in Shanxi province is analyzed first. Then, a system based on company’s strategy is put forward. Guided by this system, a three-level key performance indictor system of Shanxi grid enterprise is established. According to Shanxi grid enterprise’s strategy, key performance indictors in enterprise’s level was made clear first;then, indictors in department’s level was established by adopting business process, key-driven-factor method; according to the department’s working process and post responsibility, department targets and key indictors were decomposed, as a result, key indictors in position level were acquired. On the basis of key performance indictor system, Shanxi grid strategic performance management system was established, at the same time, the wholesome process flow of performance management can be shown in a systematic view. Specificly speaking, a integrated performance management cycle has been built, from the fundamental work, plan establishment, implement, assessment, feedback and interview, results application etc.
