Research On The District Location Choice Of China’s Construction Of Central Asia Financial Center

An important strategic support to the westward development is the construction of the new Silk Road Economic Belt. And the key to successful construction of the new Silk Road Economic Belt lies in the coordinated development between China with Central Asian countries. Central Asian countries lies in the World Geopolitics "heartland", the strategic significance of this area is more prominent for China. It can be summed up to these three aspects: Maintenance the security and stability of west China, Construction of the Eurasian transport channels, Development of the all-round cooperation. Therefore, the safe and stable development of Central Asia is of great significance to China.Perfect and developed financial system can effectively guide and promote the region’s economic development. In the background of global economic integration and regional economic collectivization, construction Central Asian financial center integrating into the international division of the China and Central Asia region is the right consideration.Recently, discussion on different levels of financial center construction is always a hot topic in China. After combined we can be find, provinces which are most likely to construct the Central Asian financial center are Urumqi and Xi’an. Xi’an, the domestic geographical position is superior, is our country’s important province in the northwest. Urumqi, has obvious geographical advantages, is adjacent to the Central Asia countries. They are very similar in the landscape, culture, religion and other aspects, and always have good communication. Based on this background, this article tease out four critical core elements of the construction of financial center. respectively, economic strength, financial industry competitiveness, policy support, geographical location. then comparison and analyze from the four aspects respectively between Urumqi and Xi’an were done, finally, this article obtains the most suitable province for the establishment of the Central Asian financial center and put forward the construction goal and path.
