Social development today has been gradually formed in the social insurance, social relief, social welfare, social allowances four systems of the modern social security system. Since thirty years of reform and opening up, small and medium-sized private enterprises have become the backbone of China’s sustained economic development, small and medium-sized private enterprises social security problems not only affect the stability of social order, but also affect the sustainable development of the enterprises and employee well-being. But China’s current scale of small and medium-sized private enterprises small, lack of funds, coupled with the social security system is not complete, the structure is not perfect, supervision is not in place, resulting in many small and medium-sized private enterprises employee social security insurance rate is low, the fewer projects, enterprises and workers, insurance awareness is not strong and other issues.The current our country academic circles research stays in the field of theoretical research, the lack of sufficient investigation, so the lack of sufficiently detailed supporting measures. In order to solve the social security problem of small and medium-sized private enterprises, through the investigation of social security status of small and medium-sized private enterprises of Yantai area, starting from the three dimensions of the government, enterprise and individual level, summarizes the problems and put forward corresponding countermeasures.
