Feasibility Analysis Of Constructing An International Logistics Park In Harbour District

Entering the 21 st century, the dominating industry of the global economy is changing from industrial economy to service economy. As the leading force of modern service industry, logistics industry is showing a significant growth momentum, and gradually set off the development boom of logistics park, which is the advanced management mode of logistics. During the development of port logistics park, it makes full use of the location advantage of port, and uses its scale benefits developed by port logistics enterprise agglomeration, improves efficiency of logistics services, and shares infrastructure to reduce costs, therefore becomes the driving power of the development of the port leading industry and international trade. However, as observed from the operation conditions of the current port logistics parks, most of them lack reasonable planning and positioning before construction, blind construction, do not match with the regional logistics demand and many other problems have weakened the scale advantage of the Logistics Parks. They can’t optimize the allocation of resources, save the cost of social logistics, ease traffic pressure, instead, on the contrary, those problems increases. This situation seriously affected the development of modernization of China’s logistics industry and economy growth.To tackle with these problems, based on the logistics development of in-depth research of X and the surrounding area, combined with the advanced experience of the development of domestic and international logistics park, the necessity and feasibility of the construction of logistics park project was analyzed, and finally come to the conclusion of the feasibility of project construction. This paper first describes the research background, purpose and significance of the research, analyzes the present situation and development of domestic and foreign modern integrated logistics park, introduced the related concept of the logistics park. Secondly, this paper adopts the research method of combining theory with practice, in-depth analysis of the characteristics of economic and social development of the city of X, the economic and social development trend, and the logistics demand of X city is predicted, necessity and construction of international logistics park and the development of modern logistics industry in X City, in-depth demonstration. Finally, this paper from the three aspects of environmental feasibility, technical feasibility and economic feasibility for the construction of the logistics park project is analyzed and demonstrated fully, it is feasible in the construction of international logistics park in X city.
