The PA Of Science Park Based On The Urban Diversity Theory

The construction of science parks is not only the process of forming new industrial centers; but also a program benefits the emerging industry practitioners’daily lives. However, the observation of science parks shows that they are isolated from the urban texture. Some of them couldn’t impact as an economic engine. The magnificent exterior is not the representative of how many people inside. Jane Jacobs’urban diversity theory is the inspiration of solution. The reason why science parks reduced to augmented products of the city has 4 aspects:1) the architectural function integration; 2) the intersection between new town and old town; 3) traffic design of humanness; 4) population density control.This article envisaged in the PA(Performance Appraisal) to promote the science park construction management. The analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method are suitable for establishing the performance evaluation index system. Through the calculation of the questionnaire results, A conclusion could be made. In the evaluation process, we chose Silicon Valley Index as a reference because it put fully attention on human development. This article simplified the indicator system into 2 layers of to increase maneuverability. The primary indexes are:1) Industry Diversity; 2) Population Mobility; 3) Transportation; 4) Real Estate Bubbles; 5) Architectural Function. The five primary indexes constitute the first layer of criteria of assessment, which was based on the urban diversity theory of Jacobs’. The secondary indexes of quantitative assessment refer to the universal indexes such as MOST torch center index and Silicon Valley Index.The results of the questionnaire were input into yaahp5.2 analytic hierarchy process (AHP) software. Using the hierarchical structure model to establish the judging matrix, which evaluates the relative important degree and the importance of compatibility. The data and analysis were automatically calculated. According to the result of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the PA result of science park in Nanjing is "medium". In terms of promoting the diversity of science park construction, there is still room for improvement.
