The stochastic multi-attribute decision making(SMADM) is an important research branch of the uncertain decision-making, and it solves the problem of selecting or ranking the alternatives when their evaluations are stochastic variables on multiple attribute. In the SMADM, it not only needs to consider the evaluation of alternatives, but also to consider the aspiration requirements on attributes given by decision makers in the process of selecting alternatives. The present studies focus more attention on certain and fuzzy aspiration level. In reality, in order to accurately describe the real intention of the decision maker, the decision maker is asked not only to give its target value of hope, but also to give the probability of attribute value meeting the target. For example, In the selection process of risk investment projects, decision maker will hope the probability of the cost-return ratio no less than 10% is at least 0.9, and that no less than 15% is at least 0.8, etc. In another example, customer service department for service quality improvement, decision makers hope the probability of the service sector receive the telephone within 30 seconds is no less than 0.9, and that no less than 45 seconds is at least 0.95, etc. It shows that the SMADM considering dualistic form aspiration level has broad application backgrounds. It follows that it is necessary to make further research on the SMADM considering dualistic aspiration level. For SMADM considering stochastic aspiration level, the main research works carry out the following three aspects:(1) The theoretical framework of solving the SMADM problems considering stochastic aspiration level is proposed. Firstly, the concept of the SMADM problems considering stochastic aspiration level is introduced. Then the principle of solving the SMADM problems considering stochastic aspiration level is given. Finally, the framework of solving the SMADM problems considering stochastic aspiration level is proposed. It provides a general theoretical guidance and an analytic framework, provides a theoretical basis on the expansion and application of the research questions.(2) The discrete stochastic multi-attribute decision making method considering aspiration level is proposed. Firstly, define the satisfaction function and utility value calculation formula for the discrete stochastic attribute expressed by real number value and interval number value. Then satisfaction value and utility value are calculated by the satisfaction function and utility value calculation formula, and then get satisfaction matrix and utility value matrix, and then gather satisfaction value and utility value to calculate the relative closeness coefficient. Finally, getting the comprehensive degree of the relative closeness coefficient by the relative closeness coefficient to each attribute, and ranking the alternatives.(3) The continuous stochastic multi-attribute decision making method considering aspiration level is proposed. Get satisfaction value and utility value by the satisfaction function and utility value calculation formula, and then get satisfaction matrix and utility value matrix, and then gather satisfaction value and utility value to calculate the relative closeness coefficient. Finally, getting the comprehensive degree of the relative closeness coefficient by the relative closeness coefficient to each attribute, and ranking the alternatives.This paper investigates the methods for SMADM considering aspiration level from a new point of view. It enriches the research of MADM and provides the reference methods for SMADM problems in the real life.
