Urban water supply is the lifeblood of the city, it was the city’s production, to provide the necessary living conditions for urban development constraints is the decisive factor, even social relations constitute an important factor for stability. Ministry of Construction in accordance with the preparation of the "urban water supply in 2010 technological progress and development planning long-term objectives for 2020", water management should be a gradual manner to the water treatment and distribution process simulation and optimization of the direction of the transition, that is to carry out water supply system The scheduling of scientific management, for the industry "to improve the water quality to protect the water supply, quality, efficiency," the central task of providing effective technical means to create the greatest economic and social benefits.In this paper, it discuss systemic information management from analyse of water supply system for scheduling technology and mathematical model for decision-making of water supply network scheduling optimization. On this basis, proposing monitoring information management system should analyse and research, because it is a foundation for information management. According as domestic actual prevalence situation of water supply company, it take the design in technology scheme, system architecture, Construction Plan and so on, that propose technology scheme of water supply company established monitor information system and the technology process of systemic construction. Moreover, the last part of this paper is the case that is Wu Han water supply information system found, which is the reference for water supply company implementation scientific scheduling of design and construction plan.The conclusion of this paper:1. To implement the effective application of scientific schedule control of the water supply system need establish following system: Geography Information System(GIS),Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA), Computer Model Of Pipe-network(Pipe-network modeling) and the scheduling of science schedule control decision Support.Those four construction stages can make the digital pipe-network System,Which can monitor the dynamic water quality of city water supply, enhance ability of science decision and emergency, improve level of industry information management further.2. Accomplished monitor information system will be the landmark. It is information management of water supply to be toward of process control and production management integration; it is the huge leap for production management from the artificial management to the truly computer management; it will finally take fresh model for production management.3. When the monitor information system which is the technology foundation of information management of water supply system complete establish, The water supply company should make optimization in decision support system speedy, should compile the evaluation software and so on for expanding the application of information technology and improving information technology level.
