Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Agricultural Products Quality And Safety In Our Country

The quality safety of agricultural products indicates that the effects of the interior and exterior quality of agricultural products on human health. The safety standard of agricultural products must be achieved in the key links, including production origin, productive process, keep in storage, transportation, processing and marketing segments, so as to avoid any harm and damage to the environment and human health. The quality safety of agricultural products is one of important criteria to economy development level of a country or social. The quality safety management system of agricultural products refers to the integrated network set up by the related departments of a country or a region to fulfill the tasks of quality safety management of agricultural products, such as investigation, planning, organizing, coordination, control, supervision, examination, and information feedback.In the face of current status of China is not optimistic to the quality safety of agricultural products and increasing stringent requirements and fierce competition to the international trade. If quality of the farm products can’t be improved quickly, we will lose the markets both in international and in nation. Besides, the hidden trouble of public safety caused by the low quality of foods can’t be neglected since maybe it will lead to failing in constructing the harmonious society. This will affects the construction of harmonious society and realization of the well-off society. Therefore, it has become the emergent task and topic for us improve the quality of farm produces in our nation by building up the safety-ensure system and by strengthening its administration.In recent years, facing the frequent occurrence of quality safety accidents to agricultural products, the CPC Central Committee and State Council attach more and more importance to the quality safety management of agricultural products. The construction of the management system of quality safety of agricultural product is of great importance not only for protecting life safety and human health but also to the development of modem agriculture, the increase income of farmers and the increase of international competitiveness of agricultural products on both domestic and international markets. Xi’an located in the western of our country belongs to the less development areas which is conditioned by many kinds of actual situation. The quality safety of agricultural products works in Xi’an has obtained some achievements, but, the overall situation is still in the middle or lower levels.In this paper, there mainly analyzes the characteristics, meaning, detection technology and the main factors affecting the quality safety of agricultural products. Then, on the basis of the present situation and existing problems of agricultural products quality safety in our country, further elaborated the beneficial revelation of quality safety of agricultural products in foreign experience to our country. Afterwards, this paper introduces in detail to the present situation, effect and existing problems of agricultural products quality safety in Xi’an. At last, combined with specific national conditions of our country, the paper puts forward to suggestions and countermeasures for how to improve and perfect the quality safety management of agricultural products in Xi’an.
