The Problems And Countermeasures Research On Food Safety Administration

In recently years, a large number of food safety incidents burst, fully exposed the seriousness of China’s food security situation, and showed that our food safety administration is imperfect and fragile. How to improve the food safety administration, to ensure food security is one of important problems that the government should to solve. Yueqing City is one of the famous coastal cities of Zhejiang Province, its industry of food production, distribution and catering market is advanced, food safety administration has a certain representation in the country. This article took Yueqing city as the research object, analyzed the problems of the city’s food safety administration from the situation of the city’s food safety status and regulatory, and signs some measures and suggestions to improve our food safety administration.Firstly, this article reviewed the current research from home and abroad, defined the concept of food, food safety and food safety administration, then clarified the content of responsible government theory and the innovation of social management theory.Secondly, this article summarized the status of Yueqing food industry, introduces Yueqing’s history of food safety administration system, then enumerates Yueqing’s safety administration measures in recent years.Thirdly, this article analyzed the problems presented in Yueqing’s food safety Administration, including that laws and regulations are not consummate; the social management mechanism is inadequate; the segmented regulatory model has deficiencies; the regulatory authorities are not be carried out; the technology and ability of inspection is insufficient.The last, this article proposed the measures and suggestions to improve food safety administration, including innovating social management mechanism to pursue social cohabitation; improving the food laws and regulations; improving the regulatory model by strengthening the source regulatory of food; strengthening civil servants’ executive power; investing more to develop the inspection system.
