Research On Evaluating The Investment Risk Of Dongzao Port Construction Project

As an important waterway transportation node, port is not only the foundation industry and important infrastructure of development of the national economy andsociety, but also one of the important constituents of the comprehensive transportationsystem. Recently, along with the daily growth of the market requirement as well as the furtherdeepening of the reform of port systems, more and more coastal port cities have invested in new constructions of port or focus on port expansion, they believe that to develop the port economy is an important key to economy blooming. But with the popularity of the port investment projects, there are problems of over -construction and supply shortage, which arouse the attention of the governmentand the port authorities.Also with the characteristics of high-investment, vast social effects,long payback time and high uncertainty, the port construction investors have to face alot of risks which correlations are complicated. Therefore, it is of high significance toadopt systematization method to recognize, evaluate and manage risks in the process ofport construction projects investment.The main content of this paper is to evaluate the investment risk of Dong Zaogang Port construction project. Firstly, the paper introduces the research status at home and abroad about investment risk evaluation of the construction of ports and the basic theory of risk management evaluation. Then, the third part analysisthe investment risk factors of port projects, then on this basis establishes the evaluation index system of port investment risk. The fifth part, takes the project of Dong Zaogang Port as an example of the empirical analysis, the result shows that the Dong Zaogang Port Project is feasible, and gives recommendations.The last part of the paper summarizes the conclusions and points out the future research directions.More fully on the basis of existing research, this paper in detail considering the port project late in the early stage of the construction and operation of all kinds of risks existing in the process, and the investment risk index between affect each other relations, have certain innovation. The paper constructs the economic evaluation index system, through the economic evaluation of the Xintianling power transmission project, it provides some guidance for the construction of the project.
