Under the background of market globalization, rapid development of science and technology, product life cycles continuing to shorten and enterprise business model changed dramatically, enterprises are facing a more challenging and complex environment. For high-tech enterprises, in order to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage, improving R&D team performance is the key. Greater demands are being placed on product development team because of the complexity of the development process for new product. This requires multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary researchers work together at a higher level and wider exploratory. Besides, for high-tech enterprises, the management of R&D capability and efficiency will directly influence its sustainable development.The Multi-team systems theory proposed by Mathieu(2001) conforms to the trend of the times.But due to the difference of the research and development team members, the trust and team learning among R&D teams are particularly important. Managing the trust and team learning between the research and development team effectively is the key to improve development performance.By literature review, we find that there are abundant studies on trust and learning on team-level, but there is a lack of studies on multi-team level. Therefore, this study is in the perspective of multiple team system and takes the high-tech enterprise R&D teams as the object. Based on the theory and practice, we sort, reflect and reconstruct the relevant literature in the thesis, then propose an idea about the relationship between multi-team trust, team learning and team performance, and also put forward hypothesis of the purpose and content of this paper. And then prepare a questionnaire according to related research at home and abroad as well as enterprise technical features. Analyze the outcomes of questionnaire by using statistics project SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 17.0. Besides, used correlation analysis and structural equation model to testify the construct of variables, and then build the model of multi-team trust, multi-team learning and multi-team performance. The main conclusions of this study as follows:(1) Tested the 3-factor structure model of MTS trust:cognitive trust, emotional trust and entire trust, and 2-factor structure model of MTS learning: exploitative learning and exploratory learning. Data analysis showed that the scales have good validity and reliability.(2) Cognitive trust and entire trust in R&D multi-team have significant effect on multi-team learning, emotional trust has significant effect on exploitative learning but less effect on exploratory learning.(3) Cognitive trust, emotional trust and entire trust in R&D multi-team have significant effect on multi-team task performance, cooperation satisfaction and development capacity.(4) Exploitative learning and exploratory learning in R&D multi-team have significant effect on multi-team task performance, cooperation satisfaction, but exploitative learning doesn’t have significant effect on development capacity.(5) Exploitative learning mediates the relationship between multi-team trust and multi-team performance, but exploratory learning only mediates the realationship between cognitive trust with entire trust and multi-team performance, it doesn’t mediate the realationship between emotional trust and multi-team performance.
