| In recent years, with our country’s economic development and new medical reform policies, peoples’ demand for medical services has grown. Rising from the growing demand, the medical development industry has also become popular, and influx of investments has also made the industry very competitive. The focus of this study is to find out how medical device company N can establish a development strategy suited to their own strengths among the intense competition.This paper uses the medical device company N as the research subject, starting from mass analysis of data, and using the company’s development strategy, environmental analysis, the Porter Five Forces model and related theories as reference, firstly analyses the macroscopic environment and microcosmic environment of the medical devices industry, then analyses the actual development situation and existing problems, and using the SWOT analysis tool, analyze the current problems face by company N, and clearly analyses the company N’s strengths and weaknesses and competitive advantage. At the same time, this paper collates the customer needs through a survey, and from so determine ’company N’ strategy; At last through the market segmentation and customer demand analysis, company’s integrated strategy has decided and implemented with control.From the conclusion of the study, problems present in medical device company N’s business development situation are the shortcomings of; refined management of customer resources, lack of standardization of service processes, lack of the classification of market differentiation, large internal management framework, lack of brand awareness, inadequate investment in research and development funding and lack of electronic management system. Hence company N has proposed a main strategy for: product upgrades, technology upgrades, service upgrades and brand establishment. N medical device businesses can only have steady development among competition by playing to their strengths, improve on their weaknesses and finding a suitable development plan. |
