Research On The Application Of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) In The Industry

With the development of the society, the construction which is made of light steel structure will become more popular. The most parts of light steel structure are produced by the factory, then carried to the construction site and set up with the house simply, which can be quickly and easily installed, shorten the project period, really be of strong seismic performance and so on. There are many advantage of the method of the light steel structure. In view of the low level of factory production quality, it is necessary to use new theory and management method to improve the quality. This paper is to discuss how to apply the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to the light steel structure production enterprises, to aim the customer needs, and improves the key quality of light steel parts accordingly.In this paper, the necessity of using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is described, and the research on the Quality Function Deployment from both at home and abroad is carried out. Then, the concept and application of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is introduced in detail, and also discussed with using the other management theories such as Kano model, the concurrent engineering and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Secondly, the paper analyzes the current situation of the light steel structure industry, expounds the management state of the light steel structure enterprises in the quality management system and the quality management methods, as well as analyzes the quality factors of the light steel structure. In the fourth chapter, the theoretical model of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is established for the light steel structure, and the method of optimizing the light steel structure with the FMEA is discussed. In the last chapter, the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) model is applied to MK enterprise, and achieved good results.In this paper, we take the MK light steel structure enterprises as the application case, through establishing and applying the Quality Function Deployment model. It is proved that not only has showed the relation between the theoretical and the practice, but also improve the quality management level of the enterprise itself, as well as we hope that it is useful to improve the overall management level of steel industry further.
