sustainable development agriculture was given by the United States in 1985,also the first to let people know about the specific meaning of the regulations for sustainable development.Since then, lots of countries started to study sustainable development. For sustainable agriculture, the main factors in affecting its production is the environment and resources, nowadays many developed countries are limited on these issues. Our country is a large agricultural country, so we attach great importance to sustainable development. However, the prevalence of low cultural level agricultural workers, labor personnel quality is not high, which requires China to embark on the road of sustainable development, which is also reflected in the country Agenda.Sustainable agriculture there are many levels on the issue, in the classification will be divided into a worldwide, nationally and regionally. No matter what is the classification, the final result is the regional problems. So regional sustainable development will gradually become the focus, when the index system is completed, this phenomenon is more prominent, making sustainable development from theory into practice. Anhui Huaihe River region includes eight cities in the province, this area in high numbers, most of them live only rely on farming and agriculture industry constitute a single, agricultural development has been a lot of reasons of population, resources and other common constraints. If we want to get out of this situation, we must embark on a sustainable development model and need to develop indicators system for evaluation. This paper focuses on the eight cities in Anhui Province in the level of agricultural sustainability assessment as the main object, and put forward some feasible suggestions on the final result. Most of the sustainable development is restricted by sustainable development of local agriculture and the level. Based on the past some researchers’ research, this paper studies on the development of sustainable agriculture limit factors in eight cities in Anhui Province, coupled with the current reliable information, the development of sustainable development indicators to judge the current status of agricultural development, including five sub-systems which are population, economy, society, resources and environment and has23 indicators. From all angles of the level of agricultural sustainable development of those areas a judgment and estimation, compared to sustainable agricultural development capacity of these eight cities, and finally to develop a more viable and sustainable development of the implementation plan and direction. Before giving the evaluation results, the first I use the 2003 to 2013 that eleven years of agricultural development data, thennormalized these data. Secondly, the use of some methods, such as components, clustering, comprehensive analysis and some judgment of way for these areas to make a total evaluation and were to make a detailed evaluation of each city, calculating agricultural systems and subsystems with a comprehensive index rating method score. Similarly, the use of 2013 data to calculate the score for each city, and municipalities for the eight cities to be sorted. Again, given the status in Anhui Province in the city for a sustainable development of agriculture judge, and finally get the results show this area of sustainable development in a good grade, but in terms of resources and environmental issues still have a lot of imperfections, so for this to be attention. For the integrated treatment of the above analysis results, the final article gives some feasible approaches and proposals on population, resources, environment, and other policy institutions.
