The Study Of Evaluation On Transformation Of The Patterns Of Economic Development In Huaihe River Basin

Huaihe River, an important boundary between north and south in natural and human geography, which owns a unique and important geographical location, convenient traffic and is rich in natural resources, is a special area with huge development prospects. Meanwhile the economic development of Huaihe River plays an important role in the development of the whole China’s economy, not only does it is helpful for promoting the implementation of strategy "rise of central China", but also it is of extremely vital importance to alleviate the imbalance of regional economic development. So based on the regional resource advantages of Huaihe River, the study of the transformation of the patterns of economic development in Huaihe River to speed up the process of its transformation and realize the upgrading and improvement of the comprehensive strength of the regional economy is reliable, meaningful and lasting.While the realization of the model transformation of Huaihe River’s economy development need a scientific evaluation system which can objectively reflect the regional economic transformation. How to make sure scientific and typical of our evaluation system is the main core of the whole essay. The essay takes38cities in the Huai River Basin as the research object, bases on its current economic situation and the study on determinants of economic growth in Huhai River Basin, accords to the connotation of the transformation of economic development patterns and the existing research results on transformation of economic development patterns, uses the method of principal component analysis to make a selection in the large relevant indicators, and builds a evaluation system which reflects the process of transformation of economic development patterns in the Huai River Basin. Meanwhile make assessment on the transformation through the using of entropy method, and get the conclusion that each city in Huaihe River Basin has not found the patterns of its economic development yet and been still in the stage of exploring the mode suitable for itself. At last according to the problems in the adjustment process, the article shows suggestions and measures to get the increase of economy, ease the uneven regional development and fulfill the rising of central area.
