International Organization Project Management Model And Experience

With the globalization and economic integration, the cooperation between the international organizations is increasing. And different models of international cooperation are also active. This paper used China- US G HIV/AIDS prevention and control cooperation project, to analyze mode and experience in international cooperation, to further improve project management, to promote maximum use of advantages and integration of resources in international cooperation projects. It also summarized project feature carried out by international organizations and provides reference to future international project management. The study of this paper are as follows:(1) using method of literature review on project and project management theory. It introduced concept and significance of identifying and engaging stakeholders, understanding concept of cross-cultural organization’s project management and continuous monitoring and evaluation to the project through stakeholder management. It gives a picture of process, essential elements and methods of international organization project management.(2) using method of case study to analyze practice of China- US HIV/AIDS prevention and control project and summarized emphasize of interests of different stakeholders. It introduced project management with stakeholder analysis as an approach, cross-cultural setting as the influence factors, and monitoring and evaluating as control method. This will be an effective way for project management and sustain the organization to achieve established targets.(3) from perspective of identifying essential factors and control method in international projects, conducted a comprehensive analysis and summary of the entire process of implementing the project management in an international organization to provide a reference for future project management in international organization.The study results indicated that international project management will be more effective and successful to approach project design, management and implementation by engaging, managing and evaluating stakeholders.
