Photography tour also as a new way to travel showing a clear growth trend. The space carrier of photography tourism--photography tourism destinations is also different from the conventional tourist destinations, its tourists constitute has more complex, distinctive features and different types of tourists have different behavior. However, most of photography tourism development and management also remain in regular mode, unable to travel to such a good grasp of the characteristics of the different types of tourists, which triggered a series of problems. In this paper, through a broad-based researches on photography travel, travel motives and behavior, Types of visitors and other related literature, Yunnan Red Land resort as a case, tourists are classified based on the travel mctivations. and then compare the demographic characteristics summary basic travel behavior, photography behavior and post-tour evaluation of the different types of tourists. The main conclusions are as follows:Firstly, through factor analysis, visitor motivations are classified into the following five common factors:visual enjoyment and relaxation factor, exploration and depth experience factor, photography hobbies factor, photography creation and self-realization factor, external factor. Secondly, through cluster analysis of tourist motivations,, The tourists of Yunnan Red Land are divided into four types, named as photography fanatic type, sightseeing leisure type, explore experiential type, multi-purpose type according to characteristics of their motivation. Thirdly, four different types of tourists have a significant difference on demographic characteristics, basic travel behavior, travel photography behavior and post-trip evaluation.Sightseeing and leisure travelers are intended to get rid of everyday life and relax,having the same nature, with other normal destinations, explore experiential travelers have small difference compared with the sightseeing leisure traveler, in addition to a little longer travel time, higher costs, higher requirements for authenticity of cultural and landscape. photography fanatic travelers varies widely on the demographic characteristics and the behavior due to its special purpose. Men are twice proportion as female. Individual tourists have a higher proportion. They stay longer and have a higher revisit rate, more professional photographic equipment, stronger sense of time, and a stronger interest to folk, cultural landscape to express their humanities through photography. The behavioral characteristics of explore experiential travelers are mostly between sightseeing leisure type and photography fanatic type due to the diversity of their motivation and interest.
