Since Chinese economic reform,tourism industry is developing rapidly.The advance of network technology promote informatization process of tourism industry,which have made it possible to spread information on the Internet,and handle travel information more convenient.The popularization of network make ways to present travel information increase,which make tourism websites compete fiercely.Network become a very important way for the tourists to obtain travel information.Something that tourists leave on the Internet when visiting,become important data to analyze tourists' travel information needs.As an important part of public travel information service,tourist destination official website's improving information supply,is helpful to improve the tourism information service,to strengthen the web's vitality,and to promote the quality of tourism services.Based on questions from the ask-answer model of Ctrip and Mafengwo,content analysis are employed,travel information need of Zhangjiajie tourists,information on Zhangjiajie tourist destination official tourism website,and what main difference between the two are analyzed,then,based on the difference,put forward some suggestions to improve the official web's information supply.Results show that:Zhangjiajie tourists' information need can be divided into catering,accommodation,transportation,sightseeing,shopping,entertainment and the other information,7 main types with 74 hypo-types in all.In every main types,Tourists' need of each hypo –type differ greatly,there are some main needs in each types.On the website,there are 21 information modules and some other information,which can be divided into catering,accommodation,transportation,sightseeing,shopping,entertainment and the other information,7 types,51 hypo-types.There are some conflicts since Zhangjiajie tourists' information demand can't be meet completely by the website.Information on the official web cannot cover the tourists' main demand,dynamic information need cannot be meet,contradictions between individual and detail information need and common and general information supply,contradictions between multi-destination information need and single-destination information supply.Some advice are put forward to improve the web's information supply.Supplying information based on tourists' need,covering all the main hypo-types and detail each key information,perfecting the dynamic informationsupply and strengthening information timeliness,increasing the information interaction and providing personalized,specific information,breaking the regional limitation and adding some other destination information appropriately.
