Use And Study On OEE Improvement In G Company With OEE Method

With the rapid development of global economic integration, the market competitions become more and more fierce, the customer demand with the product price, quality, delivery and use of safety are also increasing. Companies want to win the market and want to get a higher sustained economic benefit, they need to maximize mining and improve their potential, improve their production efficiency and market competitiveness base on their own cost optimization. Production efficiency is especially important, in some ways, it has even become a decisive factor in business profitability. During current manufacturing companies, even some seemingly works very good workshop, in fact, most of them did not produce an optimum operating state, and great potential can be explored with the value of equipment and operating personnel which virtually brought the companies huge losses. For this reason, many companies are constantly exploring to reduce manufacturing costs and improve production efficiency. To effectively solve this problem, TPM developed a method of overall equipment effectiveness. The OEE involves three key elements--- availability rate (A), performance efficiency (P) and quality rate (Q).Many studies show that it is a very effective method to reduce manufacturing costs and improve manufacturing efficiency by increasing the overall equipment efficiency(Increasing the availability rate, performance efficiency and quality rate).This article focuses on the study of that OEE method is put into practice in G company AF product line through data collection, data collation and calculating the overall equipment effectiveness of several key equipments with the OEE method. Find out the root cause of AF product line machine efficiency lost through calculating the 3 key factors of OEE and analyzing the lost with fishbone diagram method and 5 Why method. Aiming at the root cause of machine efficiency losing, basing on the actual situation of G company, find out the solution to improve AF product line overall equipment efficiency. According to the results of the measures implemented, evaluate the effectiveness of the solution method. Also the results of study have certain reference significance for domestic manufacturing company to increase productivity through improving OEE with low cost and high production efficiency.
