The efficient operation of equipment is closely related to the quality, cost, delivery and safety of products. The breakdown of equipment or low overall equipment effectiveness may cause huge economic losses. Currently, with the increasing of new equipment in domestic corporations, equipments become more and more huger and flexible. To reach predetermined goal, equipments often work under high power and long cycle time. Of course, to make sure the operation of equipments, we need higher equipment management level.Enhancing equipment management plays an important role to improve equipment usage efficiency and decrease cost. And it can improve engineers'management level and it can activate people's ambition. What's more, it can improve production efficiency and market competition. At last, it can make corporation develop healthily, safely, speedily and continuously. The thesis introduces the research condition of equipment management and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) both in domestic and abroad countries. This thesis introduces theory of OEE, and its formula and its connection with six big losses. The thesis collect data of F Corporation facility and fix them properly. Then this thesis calculate the OEE of the bottlenecks equipment in details and try to diagnose and assess them. This thesis introduce the equipment management optimal strategy, and build efficient equipment management system of F Corporation purposely. At last, this thesis use exponential smoothing method to assess OEE of F Corporation in 2011 and prove that the assessing result is credible. In a word, OEE has much room for improvement.
