Since Mr. Feixiaotong put forward the concept of Pattern of Difference Sequence in book "Rural China", this concept has became an important concept to understand the Chinese social structure and interpersonal relationships and it also has important influence on the current managemen in China. The Pattern of Difference Sequence means that relationships between different layers is suitable for various specifications, traditional society is based on emotion and human interaction, with the development of modern society, and the factors such as interests join in the Pattern of Difference Sequence which makes originally incompatible Pattern of Difference Sequenceof Association and economy became "rationalization". Nowadays, the study of management in China more inclined to the research of management under the Pattern of Difference Sequence, the Pattern of Difference Sequence has been taken as the premise of management in China, Chinese Theory of Management research focuses on explore the problems of management of companies in China under this situation, the main research focus on the Pattern of Difference Sequence of organization form of companies or organization, the operation of companies or organization and so on. The Pattern of Difference Sequence has became a unique characteristic of Chinese Theory of Management, but in fact this also found in the society of Japan and European, it is a common phenomenon, other society compared to China is only "fifty steps and one hundred steps", even in history, the Pattern of Difference Sequence of these societies is not inferior to China. We would like to ask two questions:why is the Pattern of Difference Sequence is a general state of human society? Is that characteristics of Chinese society are more severe than the other society?So this article use literature research method and comparative analysis method, through carding the Chinese Theory of Management, The Theory of Social Network, the Theory of Pattern of Difference Sequence and research of Modern New Confucianism, then this paper analysis Japan and Europe respectively from the social level and companies level. On one hand it will help us to understand the essence of the Pattern of Difference Sequence, on the other hand, this paper will to explore the way of breakthrough in Japan and European on the level of society and the companies, thus further analysis of the way of China to breakthrough on the level of Chinese society and the companies.Through the study of the nature of the Pattern of Difference Sequence, this paper found it is a kind of an innate human based on blood relationship, it means to take "self" as the center to make decisions and it is a society construction principles based on the biological birth of human, the Pattern of Difference Sequence has the universality of cultural forms. In this paper, combined with the universality of Pattern of Difference Sequence, this paper from the society and companies level expounds the Pattern of Difference Sequence forms in Japan and Europe.Through the analysis of breakthrough method of Japan society and companies, this paper found that the basic interpersonal relationship of Japanese "marginal people" state is a main point to breakthrough the Pattern of Difference Sequence. In companies, it mainly through the simulation of family ethics in business companies, the ultimate concern by grades and home to realize the breakthrough. Based on the analysis of breakthrough method of European society and companies, this paper found that the European society mainly through the establishment of the rational authority to make breakthrough, companies mainly depend on the dominant of the market economy and rational management to broke the Pattern of Difference Sequence.On the basis of research about the way of breakthrough of Japan and Europe, this paper summarized the advantages and disadvantages of Japan and Europe, then put forward China’s key points to breakthrough is to comprehensive develop the human nature, realize the combination of human nature management and rational management, and further analyzed the way of human management combined with rational management, it mainly through the Taoism, Tegalism, Military, Mohism, Confucianism and the integration of the five elements model to realize the combination of human management and rational management, through such a combination to realize the breakthrough decisions under view, mechanism of choosing and human resource management and special trust relationship in the companies.Innovation points of this paper are as follows, first, this paper rediscovered the fundamental cause of the Pattern of Difference Sequence, itself is a kind of culture is not peculiar to the Chinese characteristic of the Confucianism, second, this paper further points out that the Chinese Theory of Management need to breakthrough the Pattern of Difference Sequence, the way to breakthrough lies in drawing lessons from the the characteristics of the human management and rational management of Japan and Europe, then realize the organic combination of both and finally realize the breakthrough. During the study this paper mainly use the second materials and this paper did not further analysis the different between the counties in Europe, it may oversight some points. This paper will further analysis the relations between different culture and the management and also this paper will make fundamental theory for the Chinese Theory of Management. At the same time, this paper will further use the empirical research to explore whether the management of companies in China is the Pattern of Difference Sequence and further confrim the way of breakthrough put forward by this paper. But this study just gave out conculsions from the level of theoretical and build a bridge of theoretical and practical, as for the companies to make breakthrough in reality, it need further study.
