Currently, there has been a lot of research on migrant workers, but the discussion on migrant peasants whose migration process has not accompanied by changes of occupation is still rare. The author took a Vegetable Professional Cooperative in the Suburbs of Shanghai which formed by migrant peasants as a tool case, and completed the life history of the considerable-sized migration group. On this basis, the collective action and organization logic of this group was discussed, and especially, the problem of how the agricultural cooperatives get achieved was highly concentrated. The pattern of difference sequence, which proposed by Fei Xiaotong, is a classic summary of the traditional local social relationships and social structure. Through the investigation, this article concludes that the way how the peasants nowadays migrate product and take collective actions is still following this set of logic. Apart from consanguinity and Geographical relationship, the two traditional foundational factors, institutionalized factors and economic interests have made the differential pattern reconstructed, and it is this reconstruction process that could offer an explanation of the whole organization process of migrant peasants,...
