The Research Of Conflict In Sichuan And Chongqing Industrial Structure

Modern economic growth is essentially the structure dominant mode of growth, and as the core of the economic structure, whether the industrial structure is reasonable or not will directly affect whether the regional economy can continue to grow steadily. With the continuous development of regional economic integration, conflict between the regional industrial structure attracts more and more attention. Sichuan-Chongqing region is the key development areas of the western development strategy, and with the most people and the largest regional economic output in western region, the industry of this region is developing rapidly, so it has a very important strategic position. The establishment of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone in Sichuan and Chongqing put forward higher requirements on the industry structure coordinated, so it has become an focus issue to many scholars that how to seize this opportunity to reduce conflicts of industry structure to achieve both economic cooperation and joint development in Sichuan and Chongqing. This dissertation has studied the Industrial Structure conflicts in Sichuan and Chongqing, under the background of establishment of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.The main content of this paper is divided into the following sections:(1) Summarizes the results of previous studies of the conflict and the structure conflict, combs the basic theory research to lay the theoretical basis for the next empirical analysis; (2) Analyzes the overall situation of the industrial development, the stage of industrialization and the characteristics of industrial structure to understand the status of the industrial structure in Sichuan and Chongqing; (3) According to the evaluation criteria established by the appropriate choice of measure, makes the empirical analysis of the conflict of industrial structure in Sichuan and Chongqing from the three angles aspects respectively of the industry categories, industrial subdivision sectors and product structure, and analyzes its causes in order to reduce the industrial structure conflict between Sichuan and Chongqing area and makes relevant policy recommendations to promote the industrial development coordinately.The following basic conclusions can be drawn through the above study:(1) The development of the industry in Sichuan and Chongqing area has an important position, and they have entered the middle stage of industrialization. The industry structural features are very similar between the two areas and the feature of the heavy industrial structure and the state-owned industrial structure of the industrial systems is obvious. The choose of the leading industry is very similar in the two areas it is similar on the structure of the two leading industries, and it has intense competition between the industries. (2)Judging from the industry categories in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, its structure configuration level drops, the industry gathering advantages is weakened, the level of the structure convergence is high, the structural conflict is in the non-stationary state, but the overall is in the normal. (3)Judging from the industrial subdivision sectors in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, the pillar industry structure is very similar, so the labor division level is low and the conflict between the same industry is weak in the whole. (4)Judging from the industry product structure in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, there is a large difference in the product structure between the two areas and the problem of the product structural conflict is not obvious, but the trend of the structural conflict is increasing. (5)The overall industry structural conflict is at normal level for the Sichuan-Chongqing region, the structural conflict presents the decreasing trend between the three aspects, from the industry categories to the industrial subdivision sectors and to the product structure.The exist of the industry structural conflict problem in Sichuan and Chongqing areas will adversely affect the economic cooperation in many aspects, wide field and high level. So the advices are put forward:(1) Give full play of the market mechanism to achieve industrial collaboration and supporting. (2)Strengthen the institutional cooperation and innovation to realize regional policy integration. (3) Optimize the industrial labor division and distribution to realize the industrial integration.
