The production and price fluctuations of hog are the hot topics to domestic and foreign scholars. It is commonly believed that the reason of market wave in Chinese auto market is virtually caused by imbalance of supply and demand. Pork production fluctuation become the important factor under the reality of pork rigid demand,while distribution change is a significant performance of industrial production and development strategies, reflecting the regional changes in pig production. Distribution change has great influences on the development of industry promotion. Since the 1980 s, great changes of allocation of production for pork production have taken place in China, presenting central tendency from south to north. The researchers had launched a positive research on the factors that caused the changes of distribution of pig production, but the theory about which has been still lack of systematical study. Production layout optimization of industry development is particularly important, in the face of growing consumer demand, pig industry production and the frequent fluctuation of price, and the urgent needs of the transformation and upgrading of pig industry in china. On this basis, the author put forward the "pig production layout change and its optimization study in China" this proposition, hope that through this research, can find out the comprehensive production capacity, improve the pigs to ensure that the supply of live pigs area layout plan, optimize layout, production of live pigs in order to achieve stable prices of live pigs, the purpose of promoting the sustainable and healthy development of pig industry. With the main basis of agricultural location theory, comparative advantage theory, agricultural areas form factors theory and the theory of producer behavior, the research use the method of literature reading, description of statistical analysis, comparative analysis and the method of econometric mode, from the following five dimensions of the study:(1) the pig production layout research progress at home and abroad;(2) the marketization since China pig production layout change situation and existing problems;(3) the analysis of the influence factors of pig production layout;(4) the cause of pig production layout change empirical;(5) the layout of the production of live pigs location optimization design. Regional per capita occupancy of pigs has increased, but the per capita pig is too small in northwest region, pig production imbalance problems still exist.Secondly, the influence factors of production layout, resource, economy, market, technology, policy and environment comprehensive role in pig production layout. marketable, economic factors on the pig production layout changes in China have important influence. With the further development of production layout, fundamentally indirectly affect production of cultivated land resource become one of the important factors that influence Chinese pig production layout. The influence of natural factors on pig production layout in China gradually weakened and the influence of technological factors is still very limited. Overall, the changes of the pig production distribution in China is the result of rational choice, producer is the embodiment of the pig industry resources optimization allocation.Thirdly, on the direction of production layout optimization, the total production of pig production need to further expand and gradually transfer to the better market condition, richer cultivated land resource, lighter environmental constraints, and the surrounding mountains. Along with the further release of market economic and technical factors, comprehensive pig production to major grain producing areas centralized pattern isn’t a long-term equilibrium model of layout. In the future pig production layout is still constrained by market demand, cultivated land resources, labor, cost of investment and the environment conditions, on the constraint conditions, effective supply of pig production in China will be rendered as a growth trend.
