Factors Affecting Research On The Income Gap Between Urban And Rural Residents In Wanzhou Chongqing

This is always a hot issue about the the difference of urban and rural residents’ income level. It is not just a simple economic problem and social problem, but also a political issue that will bring serious challenge with for China’s development in the future. Wanzhou as the second largest metropolis of Chongqing, there is a gap on residents’ income between urban and rural areas, and regional development was imbalance, is a microcosm of Western region, so it is very necessary in-depth to study of urban and rural residents income change and influence factors of the difference in the level of their mechanism of action in wanzhou. In order to reduce the big difference of income between rural and urban residents, should focus on rapidly improving the incomes of rural residents, rural residents income. This is not only conducive to the coordinated development between rural and urban areas in wanzhou district, but also has great significance on the development of Chongqing city even the country’s urban and rural residents.This study has Combined the previous scholar’s achievements and use econometric analysis method to do the real diagnosis research on the time series of variable characteristics, the trend of development as well as its influence factors of the differences of residents income between urban and rural in Wanzhou district from 1998 to 2012.Firstly, undertake the situation analysis in Wanzhou District residents’income difference between urban and rural areas, the analysis results show that absolute difference of income for urban and rural residents continued to increase in wanzhou, income ratio exhibit fluctuating state.Comparative analysis of current situation with Chongqing city and Whole country about the difference between urban and rural residents’ income level, the results show that Wanzhou District, urban and rural resident income difference trend consistent with Chongqing, but the absolute difference and the income ratio is slightly lower than the overall level of Chongqing City; Compared with the average value China national income, the urban and rural residents’ income is relatively stable in wanzhou and roughly consistent with the average value maintenance, absolute difference below the national level of urban and rural residents’ income, but urban and rural residents’ income in wanzhou was higher than the national urban and rural residents’income.Second, we had analyzed the influencing factors of residents’ income difference between urban and rural in Wanzhou District. This article has researched on the industrialization process, urbanization rates, economic development, fiscal expenditure structure of these four areas. screening respectively second, three industry GDP percentage, non rural population accounts for the percentage of the total population, GDP, agricultural expenditure in the fiscal expenditure as a percentage of four factors and used gray connection model for the selected factor to sort,after matlab computed, the results show that the second and third industrial gross output percentage, the non-agricultural population proportion, the agricultural expenditure accounts for the financial expenditure are the three main factors. This article utilizes the multilinear return model to carry on the analysis to the selection factor and Obtains each factor to the city peoples and the countryside inhabitant income level difference influence. The regression results shows that all of the factors, in addition to the regional GDP in wanzhou were positively correlated with urban and rural residents’ income ratio, the remaining factors were negative correlation with urban and rural residents’income ratio.There are a lot of cause lead to the difference between urban and rural income levels, but in these factors, the most main is Second the third industry industry percentage of GDP, the non-agricultural population density and percentage of fiscal expenditure of agriculture general.Third,predictes the trajectory District of Wanzhou urban and rural resident income difference. Utilizing the gray forecast model to handle the data for 1998 to 2012 to the results show that over the next five years,the urban and rural residents’ income difference between the absolute difference is still expanding and income ratio is gradually shrinking in wanzhou Overall, residents’ income difference of wanzhou District between urban and rural areas has a tendency to narrow.Fourth, putting forward the countermeasure of narrow the income gap of Wanzhou Di strict.And ptimizing the economic structure, Speeding up the industrialization,eliminating t he urban-rural dual structure,speeding up the urbanization construction,improving the polic ies for direct food subsidies to farmers and agriculture.
