Three White Melon Industrial Development Research On Situation And Countermeasures Of Yuncheng City

Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy. For farmers, it is the foundation of their livings as well as the primary choice to make a fortune. Yuncheng is the largest grain base in Shanxi Province, which is also a famous fruit producing area in China. It has been a good choice for local farmers to plant fruits, and of them three white melons have been an important one.Three white melon is one agricultural product of Yuncheng with typical local characteristics. Included in watermelon varieties, it was planted most in ancient China, but with the development of social economy, three white melon has disappeared in many places completely. However, the tradition of planting three white melon was kept in Wanrong in Yuncheng, and it has been essential to local people.The central file no. 1 (2015) pointed out that "based on resource advantages, taking market demand as the guide, to develop the characteristic planting". Local characteristics of three white melon has become a huge advantage. The developing of three white melon industry in the region is of positive significance to increase farmers’ income, promote local economic development and enrich people’s table food. But it is not plain sailing, but with a lot of problems.By carrying out the questionnaire and analyzing the questionnaire, the related literature and various statistical data with the method of SWOT on the basis of relevant theories, this article is trying to analyze current situation of the development of three white melon in Yuncheng, and put forward some suggestions on the existing problemsIn this paper, the main innovation point is to analyze present situation of three white melon industry development in Yuncheng detailedly. There are few domestic related study of three white melon, and for the study of the development situation of three white melon of a region and corresponding countermeasures, almost none.
