| Currently, export growth is difficult, and investment is weak.The role consumption plays in promoting economic is becoming more and more important. Consumption can promote the employment by promoting development of economy. Consumption structure also affects the structure of employment. The employment effect combines the two major economic factors——consumption and employment——together. However, whether the employment effect of consumption is efficient, and which factor is the cause of the failure, all these issues need to be further analyzed.In this paper, the employment effect of consumption were decomposed into number of employment effects, employment structure effect, and the employment quality effect. On the basis of analyzing the consumption of employment mechanism,this paper measured the efficiency of the employment effect of China’s consumption. To discuss how to effectively promote employment through the consumption,this paper used AHP-DEA method to consumption employment data during 1990-2010, found that the changes in consumption structure can effectively promote the employment structure change accordingly, but there are some factors leading to the results that consumer can not effectively promote employment growth and improve the quality of employment. Through the analysis, we found that, the efficiency of employment effect consumption showed "U" type, which is showing a tendency to ascend first and then descend. Consumption quantity of employment effect and the efficiency of mass effect also showed similar trends.In expanding the consumer at the same time, we should pay attention to the income distribution, and the ascension of the efficiency of human capital.The above analysis can help to provide certain theoretical and practical guidance to promote employment, to better in the mechanism of consumption to promote employment, do a good job in security.lt also provides the guarantee to promote employment by consumption. |
