Transportation determines the strength and the range of regional economic linkage, and also is one of the important factors that effect the economic activity. Master how transportation impacts on economic linkage, is of great significance to understand the spatial pattern of economic linkage. Transportation accessibility determines a city location advantages. To realize the coordinated development of Jing-Jin-Ji is a hot topic of the academic discussion. The research of transportation accessibility and economic linkage of Jing-Jin-Ji metropolitan area is of important theoretical significance and practical significance to the Jing-Jin-Ji urban development strategy formulation, reconstruction of urban system and coordination.Based on the railway passenger transportation network employing the index of shortest travel time between every two cities which are abstracted nodes in the railway network in 2003 and 2013, using the revised spatial interaction model to analyze the Jing-Jin-Ji metropolitan area passenger rail network accessibility and its spatial pattern, using the gravity model calculates intensity of Jing-Jin-Ji metropolitan area the economic linkage between the cities, and then discusses Jing-Jin-Ji metropolitan area’s dominant economic link axes and total economic linkage spatial pattern. Based on the above, constructed of coupling coordination model, to evaluate the coordinated relationship between the accessibility and economic linkage, find out the existing problems. Results are shown as follows. (1) Through the 5th and 6th train-speed network upgrading and the high-speed rail train operation, the inter-city accessibility level has gained significant upgrade. The core-periphery spatial pattern of the accessibility level that reduces gradually from the core cities Beijing, Langfang, Tianjin to the periphery cities, and edge cities have the poor accessibility level. (2) The predominant axes of economic linkage of Jing-Jin-Ji metropolitan area have formed along the Jing-Jin inter-city railway and the Jing-Hu high-speed railway main railway, dominant economic linkage axes has become stronger and stronger, but the radiation range of basic skeleton is limited.(3)The disparity of quantity of economic linkage is remarkable, the quantity of economic linkage in Beijing and Tianjin is much higher than that of other cities. The economic linkage spatial pattern shows "core-edge" pattern,Beijing and Tianjin as the core, other cities as the edge.(4)Spatial disparity of accessibility and coupling degree of economic linkage in Jing-Jin-Ji metropolitan area is extremely uneven, with a large difference in coupling degree, and poor accessibility in edge city and coupling degree of economic linkage, and coupling degrees of cities in Jing-Jin-Ji metropolitan area are different.
