After the global financial crisis in 2008, the world economy into a slow growth in the plight of the world’s major economies are seeking, cultivating new economic growth point, in order to get rid of the legacy of the financial crisis, and to achieve industrial transformation and upgrading of its own. In this context, the service trade is BRICS countries achieve the shifting economic growth and promote industrial transformation and upgrading of a breakthrough point, therefore, the BRICS countries development status and competitiveness of service trade level has a realistic demand.Based on the BRICS countries as the research object, from various angles, using a variety of indicators to quantitative analysis of the development of the BRICS countries trade in services. By calculating the BRICS countries trade in services and its growth rate, the structure, analyzes the present situation the development of the BRICS countries trade in services; Using the international market share, the competitive advantage index and net export revealed comparative advantage index, compares the competitiveness of the BRICS countries trade in services. Results show that the diamond five countries trade in services, fast growth, but the service trade sector overall weak structural imbalance in the development and competitiveness, formed the present situation of the large amount of "bad". Finally, the paper proposed that the BRICS countries to the next promotion factor conditions, demand conditions, support the related and supporting industries, and adjust business strategy and organizational structure and so on four aspects, gradually raising the level of competitiveness in service trade, in order to realize the service trade promoting effect of the country’s economic growth and transformation.
