Amoeba operation mode is created by Inamori Kazuo who is renowned as “the master of operation” in Japan. During his legendary life of operation, Inamori Kazuo, as the founder of KYOCERA Corporation and DDI, has not only led the two companies to be top 500 in the world, but also created the miracle to make up deficits and get surpluses for Japan Airlines within 424 days. Amoeba operation is a kind of corporate management mode that realizes independent operation, independent production planning, independent clearance, independent assessment of multiple operation units by dividing and creating independent small operation groups within the corporation. According to business category or functional departments, it can divide corporate businesses so that each employee can directly participate in corporate operation. By means of Amoeba operation concept and management mode, KYOCERA Corporation has been able to go through 4 financial crisis and maintain vigorous development vitality for a long time.Nowadays, increasingly complicated commercial competition environment in China requires corporations to possess superior corporate management mode that suits their own development. Successful implementation of Amoeba operation mode I KYOCERA Corporation has attracted many Chinese corporations to visit Japan for investigation, research and then bring in Amoeba operation management mode. After carrying our Amoeba operation management mode within the corporation, some companies have formed positive management participation atmosphere and internal competitive awareness. As a result, corporate management system has been greatly improved.GX is a local nationalized investment group. As a government investment subject, GX engages in operating government capital and running nationalized equity for investment, capital operation and management. It mainly serves urban function development, promote investment construction and operation of major infrastructure projects and social charitable projects. In early 2012, management staff of the Group decided to bring in Amoeba operation management concept, to fully implement Amoeba operation management, to improve employees’ awareness of independent management, and to generally promote organization efficiency within the range of the Group and its subsidiary companies. The paper mainly studies proposal design from pilot work of Amoeba in GX Group to overall implementation of Amoeba operation mode within the Group. Besides, it analyzes expected results after implementation of Amoeba operation mode. In the meantime, the paper explores into experience, gains and losses during the practical application process of Amoeba operation mode.During the process of GX Group studying and implementing Amoeba operation mode, determination and attitude of the leadership class, implantation and conveyance of the middle management class, understanding and execution of the grass root class will be of crucial importance to reshaping organization and procedure, establishment of Amoeba operation mode, and continuous development. Transformation of management philosophy and operation concept is more important than that of operation mode.The paper studies introduction and internal implementation of Amoeba operation mode in GX Group. Besides, the paper carries out comprehensive analysis by combining practical application of Amoeba operation mode in other Chinese corporations and special operation management mechanism of GX Group as a nationalized corporation. The study focuses on key factors that influence implementation result of management mode during promotion and practice of Amoeba operation mode in investment-oriented nationalized corporations. Firstly, the paper analyzes theoretical background, theoretical basis of Amoeba operation mode, as well as management philosophy and adaptation environment behind it. Then it analyzes nature, features of GX Corporation, as well as problems in previous management mechanism, specific realization methods for introducing Amoeba mode, and potential advantages and disadvantages that could be caused by introduction of Amoeba mode. Then the paper carries out analysis and exploration in status quo and result of GX Group bringing in Amoeba operation mode at present. In the end, the paper proposes research conclusions upon introduction of Amoeba operation mode in such nationalized corporations.
