Many developed countries,such as Britain, the United States, Japan, have introduced carbon labeling system, more and more countries would have decided develop the low-carbon economy, the development of low carbon economy has become the main strategy of economic development, and strongly advocated the national economy urgently need to change,from the high carbon economy turn to the low carbon economy, which has the characteristics of the low degree of pollution and carbon emissions, most of the countries will restrict the export of high carbon emissions’ products,and a new type of non-tariff trade barriers-low carbon trade barriers will also be formed.In foreign trade,agricultural products export business occupies very great proportion, is very significant to our country’s economic development, is crucial to boost China’s world competitive level, improve the level of people’s life. However, the agriculture of our country is still has the high carbon characteristics, which cause seriously polluted.And be contrary to other developed countries who advocate low carbon agriculture, with these vocabularies such as carbon labels, carbon footprint, food miles which related to the develop low-carbon agriculture has become more and more popular, low-carbon trade barriers will have a great influence on export of China’s farm products, in the short term,will turn into a big stumbling block,inhibit agricultural exports, therefore, China should pay close attention to the development of low-carbon trade barriers and formulate the solution as soon as possible.The paper comprises six parts:the first part is the theoretical analysis of low carbon trade barriers elaborates the definition and origin of low carbon trade barriers,the basic contents and characteristics of low carbon trade barriers, and analyzes the dualism of low-carbon trade barriers.The second section is the status quo of agricultural exports under low carbon trade barriers,elaborates the four aspects which include the international competitiveness of agricultural products, agricultural products’ specie and so on.The third part of this paper introduces the present situation of the export of Chinese roast eel, introuduce the situation of roast eel exported to various countriesand terms of trade, and comparison the roast eel and other agricultural products exported to Japan and South Korea.The fourth part expounds the influence of Chinese roast eel export under low-carbon trade barriers, firstly elaborated the negative influence on Chinese roast eel export under low-carbon trade barriers, include undermining China’s international competitiveness, inhibition farm products’growth rate,force most of businesses retreat from the international market and other aspects, secondly elaborated positive impact on Chinese roast eel export under low-carbon trade barriers,include helps to improve the quality of roasted eel products, promote the establishing and perfecting of supply chain of low carbon and other two aspects.The fifth part expounds the response to low carbon trade barriers to success and failure cases are analyzed in comparison.The last section is the advice and strategies about China’s agricultural exports under low carbon trade barriers, and analyzed the macro, meso and micro three angles, laid a certain theoretical basis to China’s agricultural products export trade under low carbon trade barriers.
