Being neighboring countries, bilateral economic and trade cooperations between Mongolia and People’s Republic of China are constantly evolving. Since 2011, China has become the largest investor, top export destination and top import origin of Mongolia that made China the top trading partner of Mongolia. Between 2014 to 2015, the target annual trade of forty billion yuan between Mongolia and China reached four hundred billion yuan. Imports grew by 43.5 percent that reached three hundred billion yuan. In recent years, China and Mongolia comprehensive cooperation in various fields such as strategic mineral resources, infrastructure and finance have been implemented and expanded. Therefore, strengthening and developing Mongolian and Chinese economic and trade cooperation is one of the most important part of the promotion of bilateral relations. However there are still some problems and contradictions in the economic and trade relations that restricting the development of bilateral relations. In order to strengthen bilateral economic and trade cooperation, regional cooperation and economic development of China should be promoted. China should actively take various measures to promote the bilateral economic and trade development. The study conducted research on the current status of bilateral economic and trade cooperation, analyzed its problems and suggested appropriate countermeasures against the problems.The first part of the study includes a summary, introduction, research of content, purpose and significance, methods and materials, review of the study, study. The study is divided into four chapters. The first chapter includes current situation of economic and trade relations of Mongolia and China and countermeasure research before economic and trade cooperation. The second chapter includes problems that Chinese and Mongolian economic cooperation are facing. In the third chapter, the two recommendations for future trade development of the countries and countermeasures for the problems and contradictions are included. The fourth chapter includes the Chinese side measures, conclusion and references.
