A Study Of The Relationship Of Technology Market Innovation Diffusion And Regional Technology Gap

China, as a big country, is on the stage of technology transformation, and the relation between China and the various regions of the world is close increasingly. However, the technology level of different regions in our country is serious imbalance. The absorption of the international technology diffusion does not prompt the backward regions to catch up with others. Technology market plays an important role in Chinese market and it also is an important construction of national technical innovation platform, but what is the role it plays in narrowing the technology gap between different regions? How does technology market promotes the diffusion of technology innovation? In-depth research on these issues has important theoretical value and practical significance.In first two chapters of this paper, the main content: the research background and research significance; analysis of domestic and foreign research status and technology routes and so on; introduction to the theories of technology market, introduction to the theories of technology innovation diffusion, and introduction to the theories of technology gap and son. The main content of this paper includes two aspects:(1)In the theory research, the theories that technology markets promote technology innovation diffusion are introduced based on related theories and studies. The theories are introduced in meaning, mechanism and law of formation of technology market innovation diffusion by using standard research method. The paper also discusses the negative factors of technology market diffusion with technology market subject, technology market object and technology market environment. Then, the theories that the relationship of technology market innovation diffusion and technology gap is analyzed based on Verspagen’s and Fagerberg’s mode and it can be concluded that the relationship between technology market innovation diffusion and technology gap depends on the ability to learn and reconstruct technical knowledge of technology acceptance region and the intial gap.(2)In the empirical research, this paper discusses the relationship of technology market innovation diffusion and regional technology gap considering the human capital absorption effects, the initial technical level, the absorption of international technology diffusion effect, the innovation ability, the marketization degree and the infrastructure level in China. Provincial panel data from 2004 to 2012 are adopted to test the relationship between technology market innovation diffusion and technology gap and system GMM methods are used to estimate the model, and the samples are divided into national, coastal and mainland. The empirical analysis results show a positive correlation between them and in comparison, mainland benefits the most, followed by the country, and then to the mainland. The absorption of technology market innovation diffusion is more important than that of the international technology diffusion. Therefore, in our country at present, technology market innovation diffusion plays a positive role in narrowing the gap between regions and the relevant departments and regions should pain attention to its development.Finally, the main research content of this paper is summarized, and points out the deficiency of the study and the point which need for in-depth study.
