| Contemporary China is quickly becoming a "world factory" that provide cheap labor and natural resources to the global production. Contemporary China is already a modern state that has more than two hundred million migrant groups. In the research of the field of labor, "Marx mode" is the representative theory, Marx believed that the relationship about exploiting and being exploited, oppression and oppressed between capitalists and workers, doomed irreconcilable tension and labor relations, workers would struggle and rebel to fight for their rights. There are a lot of valuable researches about this theme in academia. Burawoy’s research opened a new chapter study of the labor process, he believed that a major transformation of the capitalist labor process occurs when entering the monopoly stage, and labor relations are no longer naked controlling and being controlled, exploiting and being exploited, but something to hide, workers’ consent and capital coercion is equally important.Through a field survey about a service company, we found that intense labor conflicts did not happen in labor scene, but showing a harmonious and orderly form. Therefore, this article attempts to interpret it with manufacture consensus theory of Burawoy. Studies have shown that performance-oriented management strategies promote the differentiation and compete between workers, the contradictions between labor and capital was successfully transferred to the internal workers, the chase on the performance led worders to work harder, the establishment of an effective coordination mechanism about interests happpened in labor and capital. Crashing games exist in the fields. However, internal labor markets and the internal countries are absent. Further study found that Chinese society unique relationship network plays an important role. Worders who can benefit from networks have a stronger sense of identity with employers, so employers use networks produce loyalty, stability and security constraints dissatisfaction. After depth discussion of the relationship between the network, we found constituted between managers and workers is a vertical relationship network, If pay talks and work-related injury do not happen, it is so difficult to break the relationship bound between workers and employers, that workers unable to fight. Meanwhile, the labor relations in the labor process are replaced by traditional village relationships, it delayed the formation of "the status of workers" consciousness. |
