The external environment is increasingly complicated and volatile, the enterprises need to make the innovation in order to meet the need of the market and customer. In a dynamic environment, in order to survival and sustainable development, the enterprise must improve the creativity and create new products to obtain larger competitive advantage. Organizational creativity is a process of collective creative thinking, which is the novelty and usefulness output of the organization. It is essential for the organization’s innovation and transformation. Creativity is the ability to produce new and useful ideas, and it is an important guarantee for the promotion of strategic change. In the fast changing environment, it is indispensable for organizaions to have creativity and know that how to quickly make effective response to seize fleeting opportunities in order to update strategy at the right time. So the researches begin to concern about the role of improvisation ability in the process of strategic change. At the same time, the organization’s strategic decision-making and innovation activities are increasingly showing the sensitivity of the time, the enterprises have a deep feeling of time pressure in the strategic update. As one of the important dimensions of time, time pressure has gradually been paid attention by scholars.Therefore, the research about exploring the impact of organizational creativity on strategic change and the role of improvisation and time pressure in this process, to a certain extent, help to resolve many of the puzzles in the enterprise performance practice and to provide useful advice for promoting their own development.Based on this, this study firstly makes a clear definition of the concept,then regard improvisation ability as intermediary variable and time pressure as moderating variable to to study the effect of organizational creativity on strategic change model and research hypotheses are put forward. Based on theoretical analysis, we use statistical analysis tools such as SPSS20.0 to to verify the theoretical hypothesis. The main conclusions are as follows:Organizational creativity plays an important role on the promotion of strategic change. That is to say, the higher organizational creativity is, the greater effect on the speed and extent of strategic change it has. Previous studies neglect organizational creativity rests on corporate practice to explore their effects on strategic change. Our research shows that organizational creativity is one of the important factors of the success of strategic change, managers should create a good atmosphere of the organization, to stimulate the potential of enterprises to create the ability and form an effective normal system, and constantly improve the ability to generate new and useful ideas, and make full use of the new ideas in the enterprise, to provide power for strategic change.Organizational creativity can promote the improvement of improvisation. That is to say, organizational creativity has a positive effect on the formation of the improvisation. Organizations trigger existing knowledge changes resulting in the formation of new knowledge through creative thinking.Putting new knowledge together, it can ptomote the members of the organization make immediate response to changes of knowledge or environment, in order to enable enterprises to have faster reaction speed and strain capacity to dealing with sudden events.Improvisational ability plays an important part on strategic change. The results of this paper show that there is a significant positive correlation between the improvisation and the strategic change. There is a significant positive correlation between improvisation and strategic change. Enterprises should pay attention to the construction and cultivation of improvisation in the organization, but also should pay attention to build a good platform for knowledge resources, to further enhance the ability of the enterprise.Improvisation plays a mediating role between organizational creativity and strategic change. Most scholars regard organizational creativity as solid variables, not based on strategic change, or a few scholars view the relationship between organizational creativity and strategic change as empirical evidence, also can appear .with conflicting or inconsistent results, mainly lies in these studies did not find the effective path between organizational creativity and strategic change. Based on the improvisation as intermediary variables, we research the relationship between organizational creativity and strategic change. In this paper, the study results show that improvisation plays a mediating role between organizational creativity and strategic change. Therefore, managers need to focus on the mediating effect of improvisation.Time pressure plays a moderating role in the relationship between organizational creativity and improvisation. That is, the greater the time pressure is, the greater impact on improvisation organizational creativity has. In highly uncertain environment, the strategic decision-making and innovation activities of the organization are increasingly showing the sensitivity to the time, the enterprise will be deeply felt the time pressure in the strategic renewal. In this paper, time pressure is introduced as a moderating variable to study the effect on the relationship between organizational creativity and strategic change. The results of this study show that time pressure plays a moderating role between organizational creativity and strategic change. Therefore, enterprises need to pay attention to the dimension of time pressure, increasing the sensitivity of time.
