Analysis On The Problem Of Urban And Rural Income Gap Based On The Perspective Of Education

Justice and efficiency have been not only the hot issues of economic research,but also have a close relationship with the harmony and development of the society.since 1978,our country began to implement the policy of reform and openness.From that time on,the rapid development of economy has amazed the whole world and the incomes of people has raised markedly.But, at the same time,the gap between the wealthy and poor has been becoming more and more serious.The big gap between the wealthy and poor can cause many social problems,it can increase the internal contradictions between people and restrict the sustainable development of economies and impact seriously the social harmony and steady. Though,the government has paid close attention to the gap between the wealthy and poor,and implemented many policies one after another for reducing this gap,the expanding ceaselessly state of the gap between the wealthy and poor has not been solved radically.The income divide between urban and rural is the most outstanding problem of the serious gap between the wealthy and poor.There are many reasons influencing the expanding ceaselessly income divide between urban and rural.As the most primary way of the human capital investment,the influence of education can not be ignored. The spreading situation of education and whether the distribution of the educational resources is balanced or not have important influence on the income divide between urban and rural.So regarding education as an important factor and studying its influence on the income divide between urban and rural have important theoretical significance and actual significance.The article mainly researches the phenomenon of the income divide between urban and rural from the side of education and the research contents are divided into five parts.The first part mainly reveals the research context and meaning of the selected topic,the research status of the selected topic at home and abroad,the research methods and thinking,the innovation and insufficient point of this article.The second part is about relevant theories.This part mainly analyses the human capital theories and the the theories which concern the influence of education on residents’income distribution and screening theories.The third part is situation analysis.By many full and accurate datum,this part discusses and analyses detailedly some sides of the income and education divide between urban and rural.The forth part is empirical analysis.This article utilizes panel datum of all provinces of the country and statall software and conduct quantitative analysis about the influence of the spread of education and elementary education and advanced education on the income divide between urban and rural.From the quantitative analysis,we can perceive clearly that different spread degree of education and different educational rank have important influence on the income divide between urban and rural.The fifth part is policymaking advisement.Based on the front situation analysis and empirical analysis,this part mainly put forward some effective countermeasures for reducing the income divide between urban and rural.
