With the increasingly sophisticated international production division, the different aspects of the production are carried out in many countries. A large number of existing cross-border trade of intermediate products and final products between countries contains repeated statistics according to the traditional accounting methods of trade statistics. Exports of developing countries have led to unrealistically high "statistical illusion." With the development of new international division system, the essence of a country’s international division status also will be changed. Traditional trade statistics methods have been unable to truly reflect the status of a country’s international division of labor in the process of integration into global value chains, and needs to take advantage of this to reflect the true value of the business situation indicator increased trade re-measured. On this basis, the depth of international division of labor status of different skill levels in the manufacturing sector among the factors affecting differences through further control these factors contribute to distinguish between the various elements involved in global value chains in manufacturing investment in China for manufacturing industrial structure adjustment and transformation and upgrading to provide strong empirical support, has a strong practical significance.Firstly, based on the input-output analysis of the world’s total exports of a country’s value added exports decomposition, we attempt to reconstruct the international division of labor status indicators of a country from the perspective of the added value and to measure international division status indicators of China’s manufacturing industry in general and the technical sector. Secondly, in order to further explore the factors influencing China international manufacturing division status, the dissertation choose the right amount of indicators from the manufacturing industry technical standards, industry factor endowments, industry trade factors and industry scale factors in four areas, and the use of 2001-2011 years of manufacturing industry sub-sector panel data on Chinese manufacturing sector in general and the technical level were faceplate return. The results showed that:first, from the year 2001 to 2011, traditional trade statistics representing an increase of value of trade statistics overestimate the extent of the average size of manufacturing exports amounted to 114.07%; second, high, high-tech level department did not become China’s manufacturing exports The core, low technology level is still large proportion of sector; and third, although the level of exports in China’s manufacturing sector continues to improve, but the international division of labor status did not show the same trend of upgrading, but showing the first decline after rising The "V" development trajectory; Fourth, increase manufacturing high-level R&D investment in high-tech manufacturing sector is the foundation of the international division of labor status improvement; play China’s factor endowment advantages, strengthening of the level of scientific research, is the key to the development of China’s manufacturing industry; the use of the country’s labor resources, allowing more exports of services to enhance the international division of labor, honestly improve China’s export levels, is the driving force for sustainable development of China’s manufacturing; weakening low-skilled the domestic manufacturing industry accumulation effect level departments to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with other countries to improve industrial advantages, which will effectively improve China’s position in the globalization process. Finally, the improvement of international trade statistics, increase research investment, the development of producer services and the introduction of four new manufacturing elements put forward development countermeasures and suggestions. The innovation of this dissertation is:first, to increase the value of trade statistics-based approach, the added value from the perspective of the international division of labor to rebuild a country’s status indicators, explore China’s manufacturing industry overall technical level and manufacturing sector in the process of integration into global value chains changes in the division of labor in which the difference between status; second, with the existing literature different, we use panel data of manufacturing sub-sectors, systematic study factors affecting the status of China’s manufacturing industry overall international division of labor and manufacturing sectors all skill levels and further explore the impact of various factors and differences in the technical level of China’s overall international division of labor status of the manufacturing sector. It should be noted is how to rebuild the international division of labor status indicators of a country from the perspective of increasing the value and difficulty of this paper. In addition, China’s manufacturing division status influence the global value chain study factors related to the large amount of data collection and collation of data selected and its rationality put forward higher requirements.
