Manufacturing industry is a pillar industry in China, which has a strategic role in the development of Chinese national economy. As an emerging producer services, logistics industry is an important benchmark of modern economy, and its development is of great significance. Manufacturing industry is the source of demand for the development of logistics industry, the logistics industry is the core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry to upgrade, is the important springboard for the transformation and upgrading. Manufacturing and logistics linkage development has become an economic trend, which is conducive to the manufacturing industry to reduce logistics costs, to improve the core competitiveness, to improve the level of science and technology, to promote industrial restructuring and development; to make full use of social logistics resources, to improve the efficiency of the logistics industry and the overall level of the whole industry chain, to promote the whole region to upgrade the industrial structure, to promote the development of local economy. GDP level in Liaoning Province in recent years, showing a continuous decline in the trend, and as a pillar industry in Liaoning Province, the manufacturing sector have to find a new breakthrough to achieve a rebound in the economy, and to maintain sustained growth, to achieve regional economic growth has become a key issue. The development of manufacturing and logistics linkage development provides a good idea.This paper is based on manufacturing and logistics industry linkage development as the main research train of thought, using VAR model between 1985-2014 index of manufacturing and logistics industry to research the characteristics of the manufacturing and logistics industry in Liaoning Province. Through co-integration analysis learned that the two industries has a long-term co-integration relationship, but Grainger causality test and impulse response function analysis shows that Liaoning province has a short reaction cycle, and logistics industry’s contribution to manufacturing industry is not obvious, the two industry has not yet formed a good linkage relationship. On this basis, according to the transaction cost theory, the core competitiveness theory, industry correlation theory, industry chain theory and so on, the influencing factors are analyzed by using the grey correlation model to establish the index system, the main factors affecting the development of manufacturing industry and the main manufacturing factors affecting the development of logistics industry are obtained. Finally, on how to realize the two industry linkage development in Liaoning province and how to use the logistics industry to improve manufacturing efficiency, realize the industrial structure upgrade, promote the coordinated development of local economy and put forward reasonable countermeasures and suggestions. |
