Analysis Of College Students’ Health Insurance System

In the early 1950 s, the undergraduates, specialized subject and graduate student of public colleges and universities belong to public health care system。As a result of college expansion, the public health care system has been unable to meet the demand of college students’ health care, schools are introducing commercial insurance as a supplementary guarantee. Since 2008, the nation ordained that college students belong to the experimental range of urban resident health insurance. In addition to Beijing, other regions ordained that college students belong to the experimental range of urban resident health insurance. Since then, there has two kind of insurance for the college students, one is public health care system, another is urban resident health insurance.This paper will use the medical insurance demand theory and public product theory as the theoretical support, based on analyzing the development course of College Students’ health insurance system in China, through the analysis of the existing u Students’ health insurance system implementation, combined with the investigation of Beijing Jiaotong University medical insurance system, medical college students summed up the characteristics and the actual needs of medical treatment, found that the current college students medical insurance system problems--Students lack of cognition of medical insurance system, the current medical insurance system and the actual medical needs of students there are differences, government and school lack of medical insurance system propaganda, the medical service level and management level of the school hospital is low, and puts forward some suggestion to improve the system from the government, schools, students three main point.
