Solar energy is one of the most development and application of clean energy, photovoltaic industry as one of the solar industry, is also the main force of the new energy, a bullish on the future development prospects, so by governments. Photovoltaic industry started late but developed rapidly in our country, since the 21st century, the whole photovoltaic industry in China, actively participate in international competition, to achieve new development. But then the developed countries, especially in the United States and the European Union in order to protect the development of the domestic photovoltaic industry, photovoltaic products since 2011 has on our country’s "double reverse" survey, as a trademark of photovoltaic industry in our country enterprise suntech, yingli and d in exports to Europe and the United States costs soar, successively reduced or suspended exports to Europe and the United States, the global pv industry market shrink further. In Europe and the United States under the demonstration effect of the "double reverse", Australia, Turkey, India and other countries are also beginning to sanctions on Chinese photovoltaic products. Heavy pressure, due to rely heavily on the international market, some of the photovoltaic enterprises represented by suntech finally walked into the fate of the bankruptcy reorganization. Under such severe situation, China pv enterprises need to find new ways to seek new development.Therefore, it is very necessary for China’s photovoltaic industry international competitiveness research, explore China pv enterprises from Europe and the United States and other international outstanding colleagues, the gap between finds out the factors restricting China’s photovoltaic industry international competitiveness, so as to enhance the international competitiveness of China’s pv industry.This paper first introduces the development of global pv industry background and international scholars on the new definition of photovoltaic industry, after the summarization of the competitive definition description is presented. On this basis combining with literature review at home and abroad, sums up the photovoltaic industry development present situation at home and abroad, explores the main photovoltaic industry such as the United States, Germany and Japan national policy support. By comparing between the world’s great powers and the photovoltaic industry, find out the problems existing in the development of photovoltaic industry in China, and at last, the paper puts forward Suggestions to promote the development of photovoltaic industry in China continued.This article attempts to from the perspective of industry of photovoltaic industry competitiveness systematic study, comprehensive evaluation of the international competitiveness of China’s photovoltaic industry level. Content based primarily on Michael porter’s "diamond model" of the six elements, analyze the various factor’s influence on the photovoltaic industry in our country. Due to two factors related supporting industries and government behavior has a great influence on photovoltaic industry in China, this paper focuses on the two factors were analyzed. Finally on this basis, by using analytic hierarchy process (ahp), constructed for light industry international competitiveness index analysis framework. By comparing the industry itself and the external environment and the system of government policy, analyzed index range, determine the development stage of China’s photovoltaic industry competitiveness.
