The Research Of Investment Promotion Model In Technological Park

Since Chinese Reform, the development park, as the leader of economic reform, contribute the great achievement, especially in investment promotion. According to practical experiences of local governments, different development parks have different investment promotion patterns. Confronting with economic globalization and national economic and market reform, however, disadvantages of different patterns emerged, hindering the economic development.This paper, integrated the academic references of investment promotion with case studies in the U.S., Japan and Chinese Suzhou, makes a systematical review and presentation of investment promotion literature and practice. After that, the author discusses the development and problems of investment promotion in W Scientific City of Tianjin Hi-tech Area, providing a new pattern for promoting local investment development and presenting a series of suggestions. The core findings of this dissertation include:Firstly, the search analyzes different methods and patterns of investment promotion, and identifies the five economic factors of investment promotion, such as management, human resources, capital, information, network, investment capacity and invest want;Secondly, based on the case studies including American local development parks, Osaka Development Park, and Suzhou Development Park, the dissertation induces important experiences, such as:strengthening the park positioning and structure; achieving marketization of investment promotion; attracting good companies and setting up industrial chains; designing promotion policies for key industrial; optimizing park service; avoiding homogenization and disorderly competition;Thirdly, the author reviews the development of investment promotion in W Scientific City of Tianjin Hi-tech Area, meanwhile, identifies two main problems, including problems from government dominant pattern, and problems from investment environment;Finally, the dissertation, based on the problems analysis and situation of investment promotion in W Scientific City, presents intermediary dominant pattern of investment promotion, and discusses the effects of the pattern in the investment promotion in W Scientific City.
